Craiglist.com is due for a design overhaul. Sure, it works fine and does what it needs to do properly, but it just doesn't look good. It's super basic and old-fashioned, especially the front page and fonts, and overall it's not a joy to use. For sale listings have nice-sized images which makes finding what you want relatively doable, but nothing makes me want to spend more than 5 minutes searching. There's also discussion forums which are very odd in appearance and look to be pretty cumbersome to use.
Agree, it looks overwhelming with so many information on the site, it's like I'm reading hashtags or something, the design is old.
